World Scout Jamboree 2027 Poland guide: getting ready

Official links

These addresses belong to the host or to the World Organization of the Scout Movement. They can change a rule without telling this site.

  • jamboree2027.org

The host website for the 26th World Scout Jamboree.

  • Jamboree 101

The host’s own introduction: place, people, and how a contingent is built.

  • Jamboree dates

The public story of arrival, opening, the 120-year mark, and departure.

  • Jamboree programme

Bravely, the three pillars, and the seven themes, in the host’s words.

  • Jamboree venue

The host’s venue page: Sobieszewo Island, 300 hectares, July and August weather, and the five official entry points.

  • Page for Sobieszewo residents (Polish)

The host’s Polish page for island residents: day visitors, programme places, coaches, and a 31 July opening line that disagrees with the English dates page.

  • LOT Polish Airlines, official carrier

The host names LOT as official carrier and points contingents to Bulletin 3 for connections and offers. This site does not sell tickets.

  • Heads of Contingent meeting, July 2026

The host’s note of the 24–26 July 2026 meeting, including the line about nearly 43,000 participants and volunteers from 176 countries and territories.

  • Joint readiness letter, 3 July 2026

WOSM and ZHP. Registration lines as of early June 2026, including 42,950 people. Not an October headcount. The role lines do not add to that total.

  • Host press note, 21 October 2026 (Polish)

The host press office on the act dated 18 September 2026, passed by the Sejm, adopted by the Senate on 24 September, and signed on 9 October. This site has not read the statute text.

  • Polish contingent troop leaders, 23 October 2026

The host’s story of a Warsaw weekend for Polish troop leaders. It calls four patrols a Jamboree troop. This site’s joining page still says unit.

  • Communications forum in Gdańsk, 6 October 2026

    65 communicators from 28 countries, 30 September–4 October 2026. Not a registration window.

  • World Scout Committee highlights, September 2026

The committee reviewed preparations with the host. Its next in-person meeting is listed as 18–21 March 2027 in Gdańsk. No new registration total.

  • Scouts of China, 1 September 2025 notice

中華民國童軍總會 notice for 第26次世界童軍大露營. A 4 November 2025 follow-up said that association’s signup had closed. This site does not register anyone.

  • Taiwan contingent site, wsj2027taiwan.com

The Scouts of China contingent site named in the 2025 notices. A reading of its calendar and birth-date line is on this notebook’s contingents page. This site does not take payment.

  • Macau intranet news index

Associação dos Escuteiros de Macau. The index lists an interview notice and a member-list post. This notebook did not open the name file.

  • Host story: adventure on the water

The host’s account of River-module training: nearly 90 skippers, and about 90 sailing boats expected. Not a promise that every patrol sails.

  • WOSM event page

The World Organization of the Scout Movement listing: 30 July to 8 August 2027, organiser ZHP.

  • Head of Contingent FAQ

Frequently asked questions on the host knowledge site, written for Heads of Contingent.

  • Bulletin 1 (PDF)

The first official bulletin, including the 2025 fee table, what that fee covers, and the age boundaries used on our practical page.

  • Bulletin 3 announcement

The host’s news page for Bulletin 3, published 5 December 2025. It says deadlines were updated. The bulletin itself lives with contingents.

  • IST role catalogue

The host’s catalogue of International Service Team volunteer roles.

Unofficial prep

A personal checklist while you wait for your contingent circular. It is not a packing list from Gdańsk.

  • Ask your National Scout Organization whether it is sending a contingent and who the Head of Contingent is.
  • Read the age line in Bulletin 1 against the birth date, and ask if a later bulletin has replaced it.
  • Budget from your own association’s fee, not only from the PLN table here. Travel and visas sit outside that table.
  • Learn a little Polish for the island, and the theme word Bravely, before you sew anything unofficial.

Ignore this list if it disagrees with your leaders.
