2027 World Scout Jamboree: Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau

What the Scout Association of Hong Kong, the Scouts of China, and the Associação dos Escuteiros de Macau have published about the 2027 World Scout Jamboree, including the Traditional Chinese name 世界童軍大露營 2027. Bravely Field Notes read those pages on 25 October 2026. It does not hold a place.

Bravely Field Notes · worldscoutjamboree2027 · not an association

Unofficial on purpose

This chapter is not the Organising Committee, not ZHP, not WOSM, and not the Scout Association of Hong Kong, the Scouts of China, or the Associação dos Escuteiros de Macau. It does not use their emblems. It does not print a roster. A later notice from your association replaces a line here.

Three associations, three different documents

A search for 世界童軍大露營 2027 often opens scout.org.hk, because that is the Scout Association of Hong Kong. Taiwan families also meet wsj2027taiwan.com, the contingent site named in the Scouts of China’s 2025 notices. Macau’s public record, as far as this notebook has found it, is on the association’s intranet archive, not on a camp guide. None of those sites is worldscoutjamboree2027.

Three associations, three different documents
Who decides a placeWhat this notebook has read
Scout Association of Hong Kong (香港童軍總會)Circular 08/2025, dated 1 March 2025, is the registration notice. The 2 May 2025 date on it has passed. Birth dates, the March 2025 Hong Kong dollar estimate, and an HKSAR passport versus a Document of Identity are on this site’s Hong Kong page.
Scouts of China (中華民國童軍總會)Notices of 1 September 2025 and 4 November 2025, plus the contingent site wsj2027taiwan.com as read on 25 October 2026. The November notice said that association’s signup had closed.
Associação dos Escuteiros de Macau (澳門童軍總會)No public fee or age circular was found on 25 October 2026. The intranet archive lists an interview-results notice and a member-list post dated 16 January 2026. This notebook did not open the name file.

Hong Kong, already read on its own page

Circular 08/2025 describes youth members as born from 31 July 2009 to 30 July 2013, and leaders and the service team as born on or before 30 July 2009. That is the same window as Bulletin 1’s “after 30 July 2009 and on or before 30 July 2013”. The circular printed 6,000 złoty and 5,400 złoty as a March 2025 early-bird estimate, and it said the whole Hong Kong contingent would use that early-bird fee. Those sentences are from March 2025. Whether a place is still open is a question for the International Branch, at the phone and email the circular prints: 2957 6400 and il@scout.org.hk. Do not send a form to this website.

What wsj2027taiwan.com printed

The Scouts of China’s notice of 4 November 2025 said later news would be carried at wsj2027taiwan.com. This notebook read that site on 25 October 2026. It is the association’s contingent site. It is not the host, and it is not Bravely Field Notes.

The homepage says more than 40,000 participants from more than 170 countries will gather. That is the contingent site’s sentence. It is not the 42,950 people in the 3 July 2026 letter, which was a registration snapshot as of early June. This page does not average them.

The about page spells the island 索賓澤沃斯卡島. The 1 September 2025 notice spelled it 索比耶舒夫斯卡島. Other pages on this site say 索別謝沃島. All three are Wyspa Sobieszewska.

The about page says the camp opens with the opening game and ceremony on 30 July 2027 and closes on 8 August 2027. It prints International Service Team arrival on 27 July and departure on 10 August, with meals from lunch on 27 July through breakfast on 10 August. Youth and unit leaders arrive on 29 July and leave on 9 August, with meals from dinner on 29 July through breakfast on 9 August. That meal window matches this notebook’s reading of Bulletin 1. A host knowledge-base page has also put the service team’s last day on 11 August. Both stay. Ask the association which text it is using.

Where 30 July 2009 sits

Someone born on 30 July 2009 turns 18 on 30 July 2027, the opening day on the English host pages. The three documents this notebook has read do not put that birthday on the same side.

Where 30 July 2009 sits
DocumentWhere 30 July 2009 sits
Bulletin 1, on this site’s joining pageYouth are born after 30 July 2009 and on or before 30 July 2013. The birthday 30 July 2009 is on the adult side.
Hong Kong circular 08/2025Youth are born from 31 July 2009 to 30 July 2013. Leaders and the service team are born on or before 30 July 2009. The birthday 30 July 2009 is on the adult side.
Taiwan contingent about pageThe birth-date line says youth are born from 30 July 2009 through 30 July 2013, and that Rover Scouts or leaders born before 30 July 2009 may serve as unit leaders, IST, or CMT. On that line, 30 July 2009 is only in the youth sentence. The same page also says participants are 14 to 17. This notebook does not decide which sentence the association will use.
MacauNo age line was found in a public circular. Ask the association.

30 July 2013 is inside the youth range on Bulletin 1, on the Hong Kong circular, and on the Taiwan about page. A later notice can move either end. On a form, use your association’s current sentence.

Ages and fees on the joining page

Dates the Taiwan contingent site printed

The homepage says the calendar follows Bulletin 1 and will change when the host changes it. The dates it then prints are not the same rows as this notebook’s reading of Bulletin 1, which is on the joining page: a deposit on 1 February 2026, an adjustment on 1 April, a second payment on 1 May, International Service Team job choice from 1 September to 1 December, a third payment on 1 November, participant details on 1 March 2027, and a fourth payment on 1 April. Bulletin 3, announced on 5 December 2025, said deadlines were updated and did not print the replacement list. This page does not pick a calendar. A Taiwan family pays the association, not worldscoutjamboree2027.

Dates printed on wsj2027taiwan.com
Date, as printedWhat the page says
2025-11-01Quota applications close, and Bulletin 3 is to be released. That date has passed.
2025-12-15The host tells each country its approved numbers. The page says the Taiwan contingent received every place it applied for.
2026-01First payment to Poland.
2026-03-15Remaining places can be adjusted by up to 10 percent, and only in whole patrols. That date has passed.
2026-04-15Second payment to Poland. The page expected Taiwan’s own collection to end in late March.
2026-05-15Personal details, including special needs, start to be uploaded. IST job choices are published.
2026-07-26Bulletin 4 is released, and a third leaders’ meeting is held.
2026-10-15Third payment to Poland. The page expected Taiwan’s own collection to end in late September. 15 October 2026 has passed. This notebook does not know what was collected.
2026-12-31Personal details are due. The page expects 15 December 2026 as Taiwan’s last day to substitute a person.
2027-02-01IST members must choose a role. Bulletin 5 is released.
2027-03-15Fourth payment to Poland. The page expects Taiwan’s collection to end in late February 2027, and the fees to be settled then.
2027-04-02 – 2027-04-04The last leaders’ meeting. IST roles are announced.
2027-07-27CMT and IST arrive.
2027-07-29Camp units arrive.
2027-07-30The camp starts.
2027-08-08The camp ends.
2027-08-09Participants leave.
2027-08-10IST leaves.

The page also says a person who withdraws finds their own substitute, which matches the 4 November 2025 notice. The 15 December 2026 date above is the contingent site’s expected last day for that substitution. It is not a date this notebook can extend.

Other conditions on the Taiwan about page

The about page says a Scout must have completed the association’s own registration for years 115 and 116, which are 2026 and 2027, to join the contingent, the IST, or the CMT. It says that if a place is cancelled because that registration was not done, there is no refund and no related award, and it treats the reason as personal.

It says an IST applicant needs fluent English, that a second language is better, and that the person must accept the jobs the host assigns.

The homepage says a Scout has only one chance to attend as a participant. The about page also prints a general line that the host should consider accepting a 13-year-old who would turn 18 before the next jamboree. This notebook has not seen that exception in Bulletin 1’s birth-date line. Ask the association before anyone relies on it.

On 3 September 2026 the contingent site said the selection rules for a Youth Forum were published. This notebook has not read those rules, so it prints no age and no deadline for them. The host’s programme story describes a Youth Forum as a model United Nations debate. This page does not know whether the Taiwan selection is for that forum.

Kit add-ons are the association’s, not this notebook’s

A post dated 10 October 2026 said the first wave of add-on kit closes on 31 October 2026. It said an email about payment would arrive before the end of October, that payment is due by 15 December 2026 to the association, and that an unpaid order loses the add-on. The site also carries commercial partner offers. This notebook did not open the order forms, does not repeat the offers, and does not take the payment.

Macau: two intranet titles, and no roster here

On 25 October 2026 this notebook had not found a public Macau circular with a fee, a birth date, or an open application. The association’s intranet news index lists two posts: 第26屆世界童軍大露營 (波蘭)_遴選面試結果通知, which this notebook did not open, and 第26屆世界童軍大露營(波蘭)澳門童軍總會代表團成員名單.

The member-list post is dated 16 January 2026. It points at a file. This notebook did not open the file and does not print names, patrols, or a count from it. The interview post was not opened, so this page does not say who was selected. Ask Associação dos Escuteiros de Macau. Do not send a place request to tfg8964@gmail.com.

Three spellings, one island

Wyspa Sobieszewska is the host’s name. The three Traditional Chinese spellings below are all in public pages. They are the same island in Gdańsk.

Three spellings, one island
SpellingWhere it is printed
索別謝沃島The spelling this notebook uses.
索比耶舒夫斯卡島The 1 September 2025 notice of the Scouts of China.
索賓澤沃斯卡島The about page of wsj2027taiwan.com, read on 25 October 2026.

What a family does with this

None of these pages holds a place at worldscoutjamboree2027. In Hong Kong, ask the International Branch. In Taiwan, use the contingent site and the association, not a 2025 form sent here. In Macau, ask the association; this notebook cannot see whether the intranet list is still the contingent. The place chapter of this guide stays the Poland guide. The days chapter now also reads the host’s River module story. Bravely Field Notes is the notebook. The bare address is worldscoutjamboree2027.

Questions about the three contingents

What is 世界童軍大露營 2027?
The Traditional Chinese name of the 2027 World Scout Jamboree, the 26th, in Gdańsk from 30 July to 8 August 2027. Hong Kong often says 第26屆世界童軍大露營. Taiwan often says 第26次世界大露營. Places are held by each association, not by Bravely Field Notes.
Do Hong Kong and Taiwan use the same birth date for a youth participant?
Not on the pages read here. Circular 08/2025 and Bulletin 1 put 30 July 2009 on the adult side. The Taiwan contingent about page puts that birthday in the youth range, from 30 July 2009 through 30 July 2013, and also says participants are 14 to 17. Ask your own association. This site cannot choose for you.
Is wsj2027taiwan.com the same as worldscoutjamboree2027?
No. wsj2027taiwan.com is the Scouts of China contingent site. worldscoutjamboree2027 is Bravely Field Notes, an independent notebook. The host is jamboree2027.org.
Has Macau published a public fee for the 2027 World Scout Jamboree?
This notebook had not found a public fee or age circular by 25 October 2026. The association’s intranet archive lists an interview-results notice and a member-list post dated 16 January 2026. The name file was not opened, and no names are printed here. Ask the association.
Which island spelling is correct for 世界童軍大露營 2027?
The host’s name is Wyspa Sobieszewska, Sobieszewo Island, in Gdańsk. Public Chinese pages spell it 索別謝沃島, 索比耶舒夫斯卡島, and 索賓澤沃斯卡島. They are one island. This notebook uses the first spelling and keeps the other two.
Where is the World Scout Jamboree 2027 Poland guide?
On this site, as its own page: the island, the entry points, and day visitors. This chapter is the contingents reading. Bravely Field Notes does not register participants.

Read on 25 October 2026 against wsj2027taiwan.com and its about page, the Scouts of China notices of 1 September 2025 and 4 November 2025, Scout Association of Hong Kong circular 08/2025, and the Macau intranet archive. The name file was not opened. This page paraphrases. A later association notice wins. The host site remains jamboree2027.org
