2027 World Scout Jamboree: the days on the island

A reading of what the host has said in public about the days of the 2027 World Scout Jamboree: the shape of the programme, food, waste, and charging. It is the next chapter of the World Scout Jamboree 2027 Poland guide. It is not an hour-by-hour timetable.

Bravely Field Notes · worldscoutjamboree2027 · not the host

Unofficial on purpose

This chapter is not the Organising Committee, not ZHP, and not the World Organization of the Scout Movement. It does not use their emblems. Bulletin 3’s file stays with contingents. This page read the host’s news note about that bulletin, the programme story, Jamboree 101, and, on 25 October 2026, the host’s story on the River module. It did not reprint them.

What this chapter is for

The Poland guide on this site is the place chapter: the island, the entry points, the weather note, and day visitors. This page is the days chapter. A family can read it before asking a leader what the contingent has actually planned. When the two disagree, the contingent wins.

World Scout Jamboree 2027 Poland guide

Which days the public pages agree on

The programme story starts the educational programme at the opening ceremony on 30 July 2027 and runs it to the closing ceremony on 8 August 2027. The English dates page and Bulletin 1 use that same camp span. Contingents arrive on 29 July. The International Service Team arrives on 27–28 July. Youth contingents leave on 9 August.

The host’s Polish page for Sobieszewo residents puts the opening ceremony on 31 July 2027, and its quiet-hours note uses that day. Both pages are public. This chapter does not pick a winner. Confirm the ceremony day with the organisers or your National Scout Organization before you print a timetable.

Four parts, from the programme story

The programme story divides the educational programme into four parts. The lines below are a reading of that page, plus what Jamboree 101 and the Bulletin 3 news note add. They are not the programme book.

Subcamp
Life in the subcamp, with free time and a Solidarity Badge about bravery, peace, and friendship. The Bulletin 3 news note says that bulletin clarifies the subcamp programme, including the Solidarity Badge, a Cultural Day, and the Opening Game. The news note does not give those three a clock time.
Modules
Modules on the Bravely theme, on the site, close to the site, and off it. The programme story says participants go through forest and beach, into Gdańsk, and to a Polish Scout camp. Off-site modules are time with local communities, including the history and culture of the Kashubian region and of Pomerania. The Bulletin 3 news note is more specific about the kinds of days: on-site modules on the beach and in the forest, a 24-hour adventure with Polish Scouts, community projects, and cultural time in Gdańsk.
Plaza
A plaza with a national tent from each contingent, a Faith and Beliefs Zone, and an Equality Zone. The Bulletin 3 news note describes the plaza as a place for cultural exchange, spiritual reflection, and partner organisations. It does not list the partners.
Supporting events
The programme story names a Youth Forum, described as a model United Nations debate, the celebration of 120 years of Scouting, and a jamboree board game. The English dates page marks 1 August 2027 as 120 years of Scouting. Jamboree 101 names a Friendship Day for that anniversary among free-time plans. This page does not have an hour for it.

Two off-site names, and four on-site modules that are not named

Jamboree 101 says the programme has four on-site modules and two off-site modules. It names the off-site pair: service, including a camp-in-camp adventure, and Discover Gdańsk. It does not name the four on-site modules on that page.

The programme story, which is a different page, speaks of forest, beach, the city, and a Polish Scout camp, and it does not use the titles Camp-In-Camp or Discover Gdańsk. This notebook does not merge the two pages into one timetable. Ask your contingent which text it is using.

A River module, from a host story

A host story, Getting ready for adventure on the water, describes preparation for a River module. It says nearly 90 future skippers are training, that about 40 percent of that training is in English, and that around 90 sailing boats are expected so participants can sail as one activity inside the module. It says people from several countries are already in the training. It does not say every patrol will sail, and it does not print a timetable.

The Polish page for Sobieszewo residents already names sailing at Marina Błotnik and the marina on ul. Nadwiślańska, and a beach and water module at entrance 16 (Orlinki). This notebook has not checked whether that sailing and this River module are the same activity. The Hong Kong circular says anyone taking part in water activities needs a swimming-test certificate from the Scout Association of Hong Kong. Other contingents set their own rule. This page does not.

Days and ceremonies the pages name, without a full description

The programme story lists an International Day and an Inter-Religious Ceremony among the contents of the educational programme, beside the modules, the plaza, the subcamps, and the Faith and Beliefs Zone. That page does not describe either one further. This chapter will not invent a date or an order of service.

Jamboree 101 also lists ceremonies, spiritual development, and the Faith and Beliefs Zone as free-time programme. The same caution applies.

The International Service Team has its own days

The programme story says there is a programme designed for the International Service Team. Jamboree 101 describes a Bravely programme for adults and an International Service Team Adventure. The Bulletin 3 news note says the volunteer chapter covers e-learning, a job catalogue, role selection, and on-site training, and that it sets expectations and the support volunteers receive.

Bulletin 1 had scheduled job choice from 1 September 2026 to 1 December 2026. The Bulletin 3 news note says deadlines were updated and does not print the replacement dates. The same note says some volunteers can be pre-selected for specialist roles, including Food Houses. This site does not take volunteer applications.

Food, as far as the public note goes

The Bulletin 3 news note says that bulletin is the first to include initial information on food: how distribution will work, which dietary considerations are being planned, and how Food Houses will operate. It says further detail will follow in a dedicated circular. The news page itself does not print a menu, a meal time, or an allergen list. This chapter will not invent them.

Bulletin 1, read on the joining page, describes the youth fee as covering meals from dinner on 29 July 2027 through breakfast on 9 August, and drinking water. That is a fee sentence, not a menu. Jamboree 101 says the camp intends a climate-friendly diet and to collect uneaten food afterwards. Those are planning lines from that page, not a 2027 tray.

What the fee covers, on the joining page

Water, waste, charging, and a signal

The Bulletin 3 news note says the bulletin expands the site chapter: updated maps, water and sanitation, showers and toilets, waste using Gdańsk’s five-bin system, electricity and charging, and mobile and Wi-Fi coverage supported by temporary towers. It also mentions weather, ground conditions, and camping advice.

The news page does not print a shower ratio, a socket map, the five bin labels, or a Wi-Fi password. This notebook has not opened the bulletin file, so it does not invent them. Poland’s mains supply is 230 volts, with European round-pin plugs. Whether a charger fits, and where it can be plugged in on the site, is a question for your leader.

Bulletin 1 says personal tents, cots, and sleeping bags are not provided. The practical page turns that into a short packing note. Your leader’s list wins.

What Jamboree 101 says about the ground and the waste

Jamboree 101 says the camp follows the World Organization of the Scout Movement’s guidelines for sustainable events and names the international standard ISO 20121:2012. It says restoring the campsite land is already in the host-city contract with Gdańsk. It speaks of carbon through participants’ actions, sorting waste, reusable materials, drawing most energy from renewable sources, and using hybrid and electric coaches.

Those sentences are the host’s planning note on Jamboree 101. The Bulletin 3 news page, which is later, talks about waste and food without repeating the standard’s number. A later page from the host replaces either one. This notebook cannot audit a bin or a generator.

Days before and after the island

Jamboree 101 invites contingents to plan hosted hospitality in other regions of Poland, or days in neighbouring countries, before or after the camp. It says the host will help plan those stays. An individual Scout does not book that programme on this website. The Bulletin 3 news note says the bulletin introduces Pomorskie, Gdańsk, and suggestions for travel beyond the camp. This page has not copied a sightseeing list.

International tickets, including any flight that does not land at one of the host’s entry points, are the contingent’s plan. The Poland guide lists those entry points and Bulletin 1’s note that a train from Warsaw to Gdańsk takes about two and a half hours.

Questions to take to your contingent

This page cannot answer these for your patrol. They are the gaps the public notes leave open.

  1. Which opening day is the contingent using: 30 July, from the English dates page, or 31 July, from the residents’ page?
  2. Which module days are off the island, and does the contingent call any of them Discover Gdańsk or a camp-in-camp?
  3. Where do diet, faith, and a medicine the clinic will not replace get recorded?
  4. Is there a hosted-hospitality plan before or after the camp, and who books it?
  5. Which bulletin’s deadline is the contingent on? Bulletin 3 said the dates moved, and the news note did not print the new list.

Questions about the days

What will participants do at the 2027 World Scout Jamboree?
The host’s programme story describes four parts: life in a subcamp, modules on and off the site, a plaza of national tents and faith and equality zones, and supporting events including a youth forum and 120 years of Scouting. Jamboree 101 names two off-site modules, a camp-in-camp adventure and Discover Gdańsk, and four on-site modules it does not name. The Bulletin 3 news note adds beach and forest modules, a 24-hour adventure with Polish Scouts, community projects, and time in Gdańsk. None of those pages is an hour-by-hour timetable.
Is there a published timetable for each day?
Not on the public pages this notebook has read. The programme story, Jamboree 101, and the Bulletin 3 news note describe the kinds of days. They do not print a clock. Your contingent’s plan is the one that matters.
What has the host said about food?
The Bulletin 3 news note says that bulletin contains the first public outline of food distribution, dietary considerations, and Food Houses, with more to come in a circular. It does not print a menu. Bulletin 1 describes meals as part of the participation fee, from dinner on 29 July through breakfast on 9 August for youth. Jamboree 101 speaks of a climate-friendly diet. This page will not invent a tray.
What has the host said about showers, waste, and charging?
The Bulletin 3 news note says the bulletin covers water and sanitation, showers and toilets, Gdańsk’s five-bin waste system, electricity and charging, and mobile coverage from temporary towers. It does not print ratios, bin labels, or a socket map, and this page does not invent them. Mains power in Poland is 230 volts, with European round-pin plugs.
When is the opening ceremony of the 2027 World Scout Jamboree?
The programme story, the English dates page, and Bulletin 1 say 30 July 2027. The host’s page for Sobieszewo residents says 31 July 2027. Confirm the day with your National Scout Organization.
Where does this sit in the World Scout Jamboree 2027 Poland guide?
This is the days chapter. The place chapter — Sobieszewo Island, the five official entry points, the weather note, and day visitors — is the Poland guide page on worldscoutjamboree2027.com. Bravely Field Notes does not register participants.
Is there sailing at the 2027 World Scout Jamboree?
A host story describes a River module with about 90 sailing boats and nearly 90 skippers in training. The residents’ page names sailing at two marinas. This notebook has not checked whether those are the same activity, and it does not say every patrol will sail. Your contingent decides who goes on the water.

The programme pages were read on 24 October 2026: the host programme story, Jamboree 101, the English dates page, Bulletin 1, the Bulletin 3 news note of 5 December 2025, and the Polish page for Sobieszewo residents. The River module story was read on 25 October 2026. This page paraphrases them. A later host page wins.
