Unofficial on purpose
This guide is not the Organising Committee, not Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego (ZHP), and not the World Organization of the Scout Movement. It does not use their emblems. When a date, fee, or rule decides a contingent, follow jamboree2027.org, Bulletin 1, and your National Scout Organization.
How to use this Poland guide
Read this page for the shape of the 2027 World Scout Jamboree in Poland: what it is, where the camp sits, who it is for, and what Bulletin 1 said the fee covers. The practical page holds the date table, the birth-date examples, the złoty columns, and a packing list.
Nothing here replaces your National Scout Organization. If a sentence on worldscoutjamboree2027 and a sentence from your contingent disagree, follow your contingent, then the host at jamboree2027.org.
What the 2027 World Scout Jamboree is
The 2027 World Scout Jamboree is the 26th World Scout Jamboree. Poland hosts it. The Polish name is XXVI Światowe Jamboree Skautowe. The host story calls this the first World Scout Jamboree in Central Europe. ZHP is the host association, and the Organising Committee works as a foundation of ZHP (KRS 0001022285). The World Organization of the Scout Movement lists the event from 30 July 2027. Poland was named host at the World Scout Conference in 2021. The WOSM world-events page lists the following jamboree in Denmark in 2031.
The theme word is Bravely. The host builds the programme on three pillars — you; you and other people; you and the world — and seven themes: Planet Earth, Peace, Unity, Solidarity, Diversity, Self-balance, and Change. On 1 August 2027 the camp marks 120 years of Scouting.
The 2027 World Scout Jamboree is in Poland, not Korea
The 2027 World Scout Jamboree is the 26th World Scout Jamboree. The World Organization of the Scout Movement lists it in Gdańsk, Poland, from 30 July to 8 August 2027. A search that adds Korea is describing a different camp.
The World Scout Jamboree in Korea was the 25th. The WOSM event page lists it at SaeManGeum, Gunsan-si, Republic of Korea, from 1 to 12 August 2023, and says the Korea Scout Association had also hosted the 17th World Scout Jamboree in 1991. Statements WOSM published in August 2023 say participants left the SaeManGeum campsite ahead of Typhoon Khanun, and that the closing ceremony was in Seoul on 11 August 2023. That jamboree has finished. It is not the 2027 camp.
Places at the 2027 World Scout Jamboree still go through a National Scout Organization. This site does not cover the 2023 camp, and it does not register anyone for Poland.

Where the World Scout Jamboree 2027 Poland camp is
Camp life is on Sobieszewo Island (Wyspa Sobieszewska), on the Baltic coast of Gdańsk. The host describes the island as about twenty minutes from the city centre. Check-in, day visitors, and media are described as downtown, with the living camp on the island.
Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport (GDN) serves the city. A high-speed rail line links the region toward Warsaw. Your contingent publishes its own arrival plan. This guide does not invent transfer times.
Jamboree 101 describes the island as land that formed about two centuries ago, when the Vistula found a new mouth, not as ground built for the camp. It is farmland with a strip of forest, between the sea and the rivers, with more than 200 hectares set aside for up to 50,000 people. The same page puts check-in, day visitors, and the media centre in downtown Gdańsk, a city of about half a million, and daily camp life on the island, about a twenty-minute drive away.
Official entry points, weather, and day visitors are in the Poland guide
When the 2027 World Scout Jamboree is held
The camp runs from 30 July to 8 August 2027. Around those dates, the host’s published schedule has the International Service Team arriving on 27–28 July, contingents on 29 July, the opening on 30 July, the 120-year mark on 1 August, the closing on 8 August, youth contingents leaving on 9 August, and the service team leaving on 10 August.
The days around the camp
The camp itself is 30 July to 8 August 2027. The days around it are the host’s published arrivals and departures. A host knowledge-base page has also named 11 August for the service team’s departure. The table keeps 10 August. The practical page says why the two dates differ.
- 27–28 July 2027
- International Service Team arrives.
- 29 July 2027
- Contingents arrive.
- 30 July 2027
- Opening game and ceremony. The camp is open.
- 1 August 2027
- 120 years of Scouting.
- 8 August 2027
- Closing ceremony.
- 9 August 2027
- Youth contingents depart.
- 10 August 2027
- International Service Team departs.
One host page for island residents puts the opening ceremony on 31 July 2027. The English dates page and Bulletin 1 say 30 July.
Who the host expects
The host plans for up to 50,000 people, counting participants, volunteers, and day visitors. Youth live in patrols of nine plus one Adult Patrol Leader. Four patrols make a unit. A Head of Contingent does not also serve as an Adult Patrol Leader or on the International Service Team.
Bulletin 1 describes youth participants as people born after 30 July 2009 and on or before 30 July 2013. It describes International Service Team members, Contingent Management Team members, and Adult Patrol Leaders as people born on or before 30 July 2009. A public dates page on the host site words the band a little more loosely. Where the two differ, ask your National Scout Organization which text it is using.
Who is who at the 2027 World Scout Jamboree
A family reading these joining notes meets these names in host pages and in contingent mail. The lines are a reading of Bulletin 1 and Jamboree 101. They are not a staffing chart, and a later bulletin can rename a role.
- Youth participant
- Bulletin 1 describes youth participants as people born after 30 July 2009 and on or before 30 July 2013. They join through a National Scout Organization and live in a patrol of nine.
- Adult Patrol Leader
- One Adult Patrol Leader sits with each patrol of nine. Bulletin 1 puts that leader on the adult side of the same birth-date line: born on or before 30 July 2009.
- Unit
- Four patrols make a unit. This guide does not invent a further title for the person who coordinates them. Ask your Head of Contingent what your association calls that job.
- Head of Contingent
- The Head of Contingent is the association’s lead for its group at the camp. Jamboree 101 says that person does not also serve as an Adult Patrol Leader or on the International Service Team.
- Contingent Management Team
- Bulletin 1 groups Contingent Management Team members with the International Service Team and Adult Patrol Leaders on the adult birth-date line. It describes their fee as covering 27 July to 10 August 2027, including briefing before participants arrive.
- International Service Team
- The International Service Team is the camp’s volunteer staff. The host publishes arrival on 27–28 July. This site’s schedule lists departure on 10 August; a host knowledge-base page has said 11 August. Jamboree 101 describes a programme of their own. Bulletin 3’s public note mentions e-learning, a job catalogue, and on-site training. Ask your contingent which job-choice date it is using, because Bulletin 3 said deadlines moved.
- Day visitor
- The host’s “up to 50,000” figure counts participants, volunteers, and day visitors. Jamboree 101 describes day visitors, check-in, and media in downtown Gdańsk, and daily life on Sobieszewo Island. A day visitor is not the same plan as a youth sleeping on the island.
worldscoutjamboree2027 is none of these roles. Bravely Field Notes cannot hold a place.
On 23 October 2026 the host published a story about Polish contingent troop leaders training in Warsaw. That story calls a Jamboree troop four patrols, and it calls the adults who prepare those patrols Troop Leaders. This table still says unit, because Bulletin 1 and Jamboree 101 do not print the word troop for that job. Both wordings stay. The October page reads the story. It describes the Polish contingent’s weekend, not a new rule for every association.
2027 World Scout Jamboree in October 2026
These lines follow Bulletin 1 and Jamboree 101, read again on 22 October 2026. They are not a copy of either text. A newer bulletin wins.
How to read the age line
The WOSM public description speaks of youth participants around 14 to 17. Bulletin 1 draws the line with birth dates, which is the text this guide follows. A person born on 30 July 2013 is inside the youth sentence (on or before 30 July 2013). A person born on 31 July 2013 is after it. A person born on 30 July 2009 falls on the adult side of that bulletin (born on or before 30 July 2009). A person born on 31 July 2009 falls on the youth side (after 30 July 2009), if they were also born on or before 30 July 2013. The host dates page has been worded a little more loosely. Ask your National Scout Organization which text it is applying.
How registration works
Participants join through their National Scout Organization. This website has no registration form and cannot hold a place. Individual Scouts do not apply to the Gdańsk office on their own.
The organiser’s public office, as printed by the host, is L. Mierosławskiego 15, 80-430 Gdańsk, Poland. The camp email is info@wsj2027.pl and the printed phone is +48 58 58 59 007. The registered seat is Za murami 2-10, Gdańsk. Write to this notebook only about these notes, not about a place at camp.
The host’s terms for a national contingent, the early and regular registration windows, and the French and Dutch names for the same signup, are in a separate chapter. This page still has the ages and the złoty table.
26th World Scout Jamboree Poland 2027
Five steps that stay true
- Ask your National Scout Organization whether it is sending a contingent, and who the Head of Contingent is.
- Registration is between that organization and the host. worldscoutjamboree2027 has no form and no quota.
- Youth live in patrols of nine plus one Adult Patrol Leader. Four patrols make a unit.
- Confirm the birth-date rule and the fee your organization is actually charging. The złoty table on this site is a reading of Bulletin 1.
- Visas, flights, insurance, and safeguarding sit with your contingent and the authorities, not with this notebook.
Fees, in one paragraph
Bulletin 1 published participation fees in Polish złoty, in World Scout fee categories A to D. The table on this page is that reading: an early column and a regular column for participants, and the same pair for the International Service Team and the Contingent Management Team. The early-registration steps in that bulletin — an allocation form by 1 July 2025 and a 30 percent deposit by 1 September 2025 — had passed by October 2026. Later bulletins can replace the numbers. This site never collects a fee.
| Category | Early, participant | Regular, participant | Early, IST and CMT | Regular, IST and CMT |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A | 1500 PLN | 1600 PLN | 1350 PLN | 1440 PLN |
| B | 3000 PLN | 3200 PLN | 2700 PLN | 2880 PLN |
| C | 4500 PLN | 4800 PLN | 4050 PLN | 4320 PLN |
| D | 6000 PLN | 6400 PLN | 5400 PLN | 5760 PLN |
Bulletin 1 asked for an early-registration allocation form by 1 July 2025 and a 30 percent deposit by 1 September 2025. That early-bird deadline has passed as of October 2026. Read the early columns as history unless your National Scout Organization says the rate still applies.
These numbers are a reading of Bulletin 1, not an invoice. Bulletin 3 was published on 5 December 2025 and the host said deadlines in it were updated; this table does not invent a new price. This site never collects a fee.
The same table, the packing list, and the date caution are on the practical page
What the fee covers, and what you bring
Bulletin 1 describes the youth fee as covering the campsite from arrival on 29 July 2027 to departure on 9 August, the programme and related programme transport, meals from dinner on 29 July through breakfast on 9 August, drinking water, transport from a stated entry point and back to a stated exit point, shared unit cooking equipment, medical care for illness or accidents during the camp with important exclusions, and a participation kit. For the International Service Team and the Contingent Management Team, that reading runs from 27 July to 10 August and includes briefing before participants arrive.
The same text says personal tents, cots, and sleeping bags are not provided, and that medicines, specialist care, and hospital costs are not part of the fee. The invoice from your National Scout Organization can add travel, insurance, and contingent costs. A later bulletin can replace this reading. This site never collects a fee.
What to pack, because the fee does not bring it
The fee reading on this guide leaves personal shelter and personal medicines to you. The list is our reading of those gaps, not a circular from the Organising Committee.
- A tent, a sleeping bag, and a sleeping mat you can carry. Shared unit cooking gear is described as included. A personal tent is not.
- Clothes you can layer. Bulletin 1 sketches July and August near 17°C on average, with wind off the Baltic and rain on about seven days a month.
- Medicines you already take. The fee reading excludes medicines, specialist care, and hospital costs.
- Passport, any visa your situation actually requires, and the insurance your contingent names. This guide does not give visa advice.
- Spending money in złoty for anything outside the fee. The published fee is in złoty. The bill you pay is the one your association issues.
A leader’s list overrides this one.
Five questions before anyone pays
Take these to your National Scout Organization. worldscoutjamboree2027 has no quota and no invoice.
- Is there a contingent, and who is the Head of Contingent?
- Which birth-date rule are you applying where host pages do not match?
- Has a bulletin newer than Bulletin 1 replaced the fee table this guide quotes?
- Who books travel and insurance, and is the early-bird column still real or only history?
- Which official channel receives a safeguarding concern? It is not the contact form on this site.
The island and the city, as a planning note
Jamboree 101 separates two places. Daily life is on Sobieszewo Island. Check-in, day visitors, and the media centre are described in downtown Gdańsk, about twenty minutes away by the host’s account. A plan that puts the opening and the sleeping tents on the same street is the wrong map.
Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport (GDN) serves the city, and the region has a high-speed rail link toward Warsaw. The fee reading includes transfers from stated entry and exit points. International flights, and any airport that is not one of those points, belong to the contingent. This guide does not publish a timetable.
Host pages have not always named the same last day for the International Service Team. The schedule on the practical page follows a 10 August departure. A host knowledge-base page describes 11 August. Use the difference as a question for your contingent, not as a date this site has settled.
The shape of the programme
Jamboree 101 sketches more than the opening and the closing. It describes on-site programme modules and two off-site ones: service, including a camp-in-camp adventure, and time to discover Gdańsk. Free-time plans mentioned there include ceremonies, a faith and beliefs space, Friendship Day on 1 August for 120 years of Scouting, and plaza activities. Adult volunteers are described as having their own Bravely programme and an International Service Team adventure. The lines above are our reading, not the programme book.
Getting ready, as of November 2026
This note is for a patrol, a leader, or a family planning the 2027 World Scout Jamboree in Poland. It is not a contingent handbook. If your Head of Contingent has a newer date, follow that date. worldscoutjamboree2027 does not take a payment and does not hold a place.
Dates Bulletin 1 still prints
Bulletin 1 printed a payment and registration calendar. The rows below are that calendar, marked against 2 November 2026. Bulletin 2 came out in April 2025. Bulletin 3 was published on 5 December 2025, and the host’s note on it says deadlines were updated. This page has not seen a public list that replaces the dates below, so it does not invent new ones.
| Date | On 2 November 2026 | What Bulletin 1 said |
|---|---|---|
| Already past | Contingent deposit of 10 percent, unless the early-bird deposit was already paid. Bulletin 1 said missing it put the allocation at risk. | |
| Already past | One adjustment of the approved allocation, up to 10 percent. | |
| Already past | Second payment, 20 percent. | |
| Already past | Start of personal-data upload for the International Service Team, the Contingent Management Team, and Adult Patrol Leaders, and the start of IST job choice. The timeline in the same bulletin also names special-needs registration for each patrol. | |
| Already past | Third payment, 30 percent. | |
| Still ahead on that calendar | End of IST registration and job choice, on the Bulletin 1 timeline. | |
| Still ahead on that calendar | Upload of participant personal data. | |
| Still ahead on that calendar | Fourth payment, 40 percent. Bulletin 1 said this last instalment is reduced for contingents that secured the early fee. |
Flights, the train, and the days around camp
Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport (GDN) serves the city. Bulletin 1 says a high-speed train from Warsaw to Gdańsk takes about two and a half hours. Jamboree 101 puts daily life on Sobieszewo Island and check-in, day visitors, and media in downtown Gdańsk, about twenty minutes apart by the host’s account. The participation-fee reading includes transfers from stated entry and exit points. A flight into a different airport belongs to the contingent.
Jamboree 101 invites contingents to plan hosted hospitality in other parts of Poland, or days in neighbouring countries, before or after the camp, and says the host will help plan those stays. An individual Scout does not book that programme on this website.
Poland is in the Schengen area. This site does not give visa advice. Jamboree 101 says European Union visa fees for participants under 26 will be waived under the Schengen Visa Code. That sentence is the host’s, not an entry decision. Passport validity and whether you need a visa stay with your National Scout Organization and the Polish authorities.
Camp life, from the public note on Bulletin 3
The host’s news page for Bulletin 3 (5 December 2025) describes the programme in more detail than Bulletin 1: on-site modules on the beach and in the forest, a 24-hour adventure with Polish Scouts, community projects, and time in Gdańsk. It names a Solidarity Badge, a Cultural Day, and the Opening Game in the subcamp, and a plaza for contingents, faith and beliefs, and partner organisations.
The same note says the bulletin covers showers, toilets, charging, mobile coverage, and waste sorting on Gdańsk’s five-bin system. It does not list the five streams or a packing diagram on the news page, so this guide does not guess them. It also says Food Houses will distribute meals and that dietary needs are being planned, with a further circular still to come. Tell your contingent about a diet. There is no meal form on this site.
International Service Team preparation in that note includes e-learning, a job catalogue, and on-site training. Bulletin 1 had scheduled job choice from 1 September 2026 to 1 December 2026. Bulletin 3 says deadlines were updated. Ask which date your contingent is using.
Poland’s mains supply is 230 volts, and everyday plugs take European round pins. Bring an adaptor if your charger will not fit. Where to charge on the site is a question for your leader, from Bulletin 3, not a map drawn here.
Five questions for October 2026
- Does our National Scout Organization hold an allocation, and who is the Head of Contingent?
- Which bulletin’s payment date are we on? Bulletin 1’s next printed instalment was 1 November 2026. Bulletin 3 said deadlines moved.
- Has the contingent collected passport details, a diet, and medicines the camp clinic will not replace?
- Who books the flight, and does it land at an entry point the host named?
- Where does a safeguarding concern go? Not to the contact form on this site.
Calendar rows are a reading of Bulletin 1’s preparation timeline and section 4.4, checked in October 2026. The camp-life sentences follow the host’s public Bulletin 3 announcement, not a reprint of the bulletin.
Travel, visas, and the weather note
Poland is in the Schengen area. Visas, invitations, and passport rules belong to your National Scout Organization and the Polish authorities. This site does not give visa advice.
Bulletin 1 sketches July and August as a daily average around 17°C, highs around 21°C, humidity around 55 percent, and rain on about seven days a month. The Baltic shore is windy. Pack layers.
The October 2026 calendar and the Bulletin 3 camp note are aboveFrom Warsaw, the airport, or a ferry
Safe from Harm
The Jamboree follows the World Organization of the Scout Movement Safe from Harm approach, plus the host’s own rules and your contingent’s code. This website is not a place to report a concern. Use your leaders and the official channels.
Five languages
The same guide is in English, Traditional Chinese, Polish, Japanese, and French. The Traditional Chinese pages use the name 世界童軍大露營 2027. The language switch is in the header. The facts do not change with the language.
Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau
In Traditional Chinese the camp is called 世界童軍大露營 2027. Hong Kong’s own notice is a circular of the Scout Association of Hong Kong, not a page on this domain. The long reading for those readers is written in Traditional Chinese. That page reads circular 08/2025 for Hong Kong families: the birth dates it printed, the March 2025 Hong Kong dollar estimate, and an HKSAR passport versus a Document of Identity.

Questions about the 2027 World Scout Jamboree
- When is the 2027 World Scout Jamboree?
- The camp runs from 30 July to 8 August 2027 in Gdańsk, Poland. The host also publishes arrival days from 27 July and departures through 10 August.
- Where is the World Scout Jamboree 2027 Poland camp?
- On Sobieszewo Island in Gdańsk, on the Baltic. The host describes it as about twenty minutes from the city centre.
- How do I register for the 2027 World Scout Jamboree?
- Through your National Scout Organization. Bravely Field Notes cannot hold a place.
- Is worldscoutjamboree2027.com the official site?
- No. Bravely Field Notes – worldscoutjamboree2027.com is an independent unofficial guide. The host site is jamboree2027.org.
- What does the theme Bravely mean here?
- Bravely is the host’s theme word. The programme hangs on three pillars: you; you and other people; you and the world. This site keeps the word in Latin letters.
- What is the 2027 World Scout Jamboree?
- The 26th World Scout Jamboree, hosted by ZHP in Gdańsk, Poland, from 30 July to 8 August 2027. The theme word is Bravely. The host story calls it the first World Scout Jamboree in Central Europe.
- What does this World Scout Jamboree 2027 Poland guide cover?
- Place, dates, birth-date ages, how a contingent is built, what Bulletin 1 said about the fee table and what that fee covers, and where to check the official text. It does not register you.
- Is worldscoutjamboree2027 an official registration site?
- No. worldscoutjamboree2027 is this independent guide, Bravely Field Notes. The host site is jamboree2027.org. Places are held by National Scout Organizations, not by this domain.
- What does the 2027 World Scout Jamboree fee cover?
- Bulletin 1 describes campsite, programme transport, meals on the published dates, drinking water, entry and exit transfers, shared cooking gear, limited medical care, and a kit. It says you bring your own tent and sleeping bag, and that medicines and hospital costs are extra. Confirm the current text with your National Scout Organization.
- What is 世界童軍大露營 2027?
- It is the Traditional Chinese name of the 2027 World Scout Jamboree. Taiwan also calls it 第26次世界大露營. Hong Kong often says 第26屆世界童軍大露營. This site publishes that guide in Traditional Chinese.
- What did Bulletin 1 list as the participation fee?
- In Polish złoty: category A is 1,500 early or 1,600 regular for a participant, up to category D at 6,000 early or 6,400 regular. International Service Team and Contingent Management Team fees in that bulletin run from 1,350 to 5,760 złoty depending on category and column. The early-bird deadlines in Bulletin 1 had passed by October 2026. The table on this page is the full reading. Your National Scout Organization’s invoice can add travel and insurance, and a later bulletin can replace the figures.
- What should a patrol prepare before the 2027 World Scout Jamboree?
- In October 2026, ask whether your National Scout Organization has an allocation and which bulletin it is using. Bulletin 1’s calendar had a 30 percent payment on 1 November 2026 and the end of International Service Team job choice on 1 December 2026, then participant data on 1 March 2027 and a final payment on 1 April 2027. Bulletin 3, published on 5 December 2025, said those deadlines were updated. Pack a tent and a sleeping bag, because Bulletin 1 said the fee does not include them. This guide does not register you.
- What is the theme of the 26th World Scout Jamboree 2027?
- Bravely. Three pillars: you; you and other people; you and the world. Seven themes: Planet Earth, Peace, Unity, Solidarity, Diversity, Self-balance, and Change. The sentences on this site are a short reading, not the programme book. Bravely Field Notes is the notebook at worldscoutjamboree2027.com, not the theme itself.
- Who is who at the 2027 World Scout Jamboree?
- Youth participants, in Bulletin 1, are born after 30 July 2009 and on or before 30 July 2013, and live in patrols of nine with one Adult Patrol Leader. Four patrols make a unit. A Head of Contingent does not also serve as an Adult Patrol Leader or on the International Service Team. The Contingent Management Team and the International Service Team are on the adult side of that birth-date line. Day visitors are counted in the host’s “up to 50,000” and are described downtown, not as the patrols sleeping on the island. Bravely Field Notes is not one of those roles.
- Is the 2027 World Scout Jamboree in Korea?
- No. The 2027 World Scout Jamboree is the 26th, in Gdańsk, Poland, from 30 July to 8 August 2027. The World Scout Jamboree in Korea was the 25th, which WOSM lists at SaeManGeum, Gunsan-si, from 1 to 12 August 2023. Statements from August 2023 say participants left that campsite ahead of Typhoon Khanun and that the closing ceremony was in Seoul on 11 August 2023. That camp is finished. It is not the 2027 jamboree.
Public sources checked in October 2026: jamboree2027.org (the host story, Jamboree 101, and the Bulletin 3 announcement of 5 December 2025), the WOSM event page, and Bulletin 1. Fees, deadlines, and age limits can change.
