Unofficial on purpose

Bravely Field Notes at worldscoutjamboree2027.com is not the Organising Committee, not ZHP, not WOSM, and not the Scout Association of Hong Kong, the Scouts of China, or the Associação dos Escuteiros de Macau. It does not use their emblems. Places, fees, and withdrawals belong to those associations and to the host at jamboree2027.org.

Hong Kong families: start here

世界童軍大露營 2027 is the Traditional Chinese name of this camp. If you are reading from Hong Kong in 2026, circular 08/2025’s 2 May 2025 deadline has passed. Do not post that form to worldscoutjamboree2027.com. Ask the Scout Association of Hong Kong’s International Branch whether the contingent is still taking enquiries. The circular prints 2957 6400 and il@scout.org.hk.

October 2026 on the host calendar

Bulletin 1 printed a payment calendar for 世界童軍大露營 2027. Against 22 October 2026, the next printed line is a third payment of 30 percent on 1 November 2026, and the end of International Service Team job choice on 1 December 2026. Bulletin 3, announced on 5 December 2025, said deadlines were updated. This page has not seen a public list that replaces those dates, so it does not invent one. Circular 08/2025 said the whole Hong Kong contingent would use the early-bird fee and that there would not be a later registration round. Those sentences are from March 2025. Whether anything is payable this November, and in what amount, is a question for the International Branch. Do not pay this website.

What the name refers to

世界童軍大露營 2027 is the Traditional Chinese name of the 26th World Scout Jamboree. The host association is Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego (ZHP). The host story calls it the first World Scout Jamboree in Central Europe. Camp life runs from 30 July to 8 August 2027 on Sobieszewo Island in Gdańsk, under the theme word Bravely. The Polish name is XXVI Światowe Jamboree Skautowe. The English name is the 2027 World Scout Jamboree.

Hong Kong writing often says 第26屆世界童軍大露營. Taiwan often says 第26次世界大露營. This page uses 世界童軍大露營 2027 for both, and it keeps Bravely in Latin letters. A Hong Kong circular glosses that word as 英勇. Elsewhere on this site the gloss is 勇敢. The host’s word is the Latin one. Neither Chinese gloss is an official renaming.

A Hong Kong search sometimes puts the English words in another order: scout world jamboree 2027. That is this camp, 世界童軍大露營 2027, the 26th World Scout Jamboree. International scout jamboree 2027 is the same gathering. It is not the International Service Team, which is the camp’s volunteer staff. The usual English order is world scout jamboree 2027. Bravely Field Notes at worldscoutjamboree2027.com writes the notes. It does not hold a Hong Kong place.

26th World Scout JamboreeWords for the 2027 World Scout Jamboree, including 世界童軍大露營 2027

世界童軍大露營 2027 is the 26th, not the 25th or the 27th

Hong Kong writing often says 第26屆世界童軍大露營 for 世界童軍大露營 2027. That is the camp in Gdańsk from 30 July to 8 August 2027. The 25th was in Korea in 2023 and has finished. The 27th is a different camp: WOSM’s event page puts it provisionally in Silkeborg, Denmark, from 28 July to 8 August 2031, hosted by the Danish Scout Council. A Hong Kong place still comes from the Scout Association of Hong Kong, not from worldscoutjamboree2027.

26th World Scout Jamboree: where the number sits

The 2027 World Scout Jamboree is in Poland, not Korea

The 2027 World Scout Jamboree is the 26th World Scout Jamboree. The World Organization of the Scout Movement lists it in Gdańsk, Poland, from 30 July to 8 August 2027. A search that adds Korea is describing a different camp.

The World Scout Jamboree in Korea was the 25th. The WOSM event page lists it at SaeManGeum, Gunsan-si, Republic of Korea, from 1 to 12 August 2023, and says the Korea Scout Association had also hosted the 17th World Scout Jamboree in 1991. Statements WOSM published in August 2023 say participants left the SaeManGeum campsite ahead of Typhoon Khanun, and that the closing ceremony was in Seoul on 11 August 2023. That jamboree has finished. It is not the 2027 camp.

Places at the 2027 World Scout Jamboree still go through a National Scout Organization. This site does not cover the 2023 camp, and it does not register anyone for Poland.

2027 dates and place: the WOSM event page for the 26th World Scout Jamboree. 2023 dates, SaeManGeum, and the 1991 note: the WOSM page for the 25th. The departure and the 11 August 2023 closing: WOSM statements from that month. Checked 20 October 2026.

Hong Kong time and Poland time

Hong Kong Time is UTC+8 all year. During the camp, Poland is on Central European Summer Time, UTC+2, which is six hours behind Hong Kong. A 10:00 ceremony in Gdańsk is 16:00 in Hong Kong. The European Commission’s summer-time schedule for 2027 runs from 28 March to 31 October, so 30 July to 8 August falls inside summer time. This page does not publish a flight timetable. Families usually connect through a European hub into Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport (GDN). Your contingent, not this site, names the flights.

The camp dates stay on the same calendar in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau. Only the hour moves. Those three places are UTC+8 all year, six hours ahead of Gdańsk during this camp. Add six hours to a Gdańsk time. When the sum passes midnight, the date at home is the next day.

The host has not published a clock time for the opening or the closing. The rows are a converter, not a programme. A message sent from camp at 18:00 on 30 July is midnight at the start of 31 July in Hong Kong. A message sent at 22:00 on 30 July is 04:00 on 31 July.

Japan Standard Time is UTC+9, seven hours ahead of Gdańsk during the camp. Metropolitan France shares Central European Summer Time with Poland, so those clocks match. The table is for families in Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macau.

Hong Kong: read the association’s circular

Scouts in Hong Kong join through the Scout Association of Hong Kong (香港童軍總會), not through worldscoutjamboree2027. The International Branch published circular 08/2025 on 1 March 2025, under the title of formal registration for the 26th World Scout Jamboree in Poland. That PDF is the association’s notice. A search for 世界童軍大露營 2027 often finds it first. The sections below read the parts Hong Kong families ask about. They are not a copy of the circular, and they are not a form.

The circular printed 2 May 2025 as the deadline for applications and for the subsidy schemes it described. That date has passed. This notebook does not know whether a later circular reopened places, changed the fee, or closed the contingent. Ask the association. Do not send a 2025 form to this website.

On birth dates, circular 08/2025 and Bulletin 1 describe the same window in different words. A person born on 30 July 2009 is on the adult side of both. A person born on 31 July 2009 is on the youth side. A person born on 30 July 2013 is still youth, and 31 July 2013 is not. Other sentences do not always match. A host knowledge-base page has put the service team’s last day on 11 August, while the Hong Kong circular prints 10 August, which is the date in this site’s table. When a Hong Kong form and this notebook disagree, use the association’s current text.

Who had to recommend a Hong Kong application

Circular 08/2025 says an application from a youth member, or from a Scout member or leader in a Scout troop, had to be recommended by the troop leader (旅長) and the district commissioner (區總監). Other members and leaders needed a recommendation from the commissioner of their own unit (單位總監). The paper form was to go to the International Branch on the 10th floor of Hong Kong Scout Centre, at the address the circular prints: 九龍柯士甸道童軍徑香港童軍中心. An applicant could use the online form instead, and the circular said not to send both.

The circular’s header prints the International Branch fax as 2302 1001, beside the phone 2957 6400 and il@scout.org.hk. Payment at that time was by FPS or a crossed cheque to the association. The 2 May 2025 deadline has passed. This page does not reprint the account number or the form. Do not send either to worldscoutjamboree2027.

On 28 October 2026 the association’s public circular index opened on notices dated 1 October 2026. None of the notices in that first view was a new circular for 世界童軍大露營 2027. This page did not read every older row, so it does not claim that no later notice exists. Ask the International Branch.

世界童軍大露營 2027:報名

Taiwan and Macau

Readers in Taiwan ask the Scouts of China (中華民國童軍總會). Readers in Macau ask Associação dos Escuteiros de Macau (澳門童軍總會). This page does not speak for either association and does not know whether their contingents are open. The same rule applies everywhere else: your own National Scout Organization holds the place.

The camp, in one reading

The published camp is 30 July to 8 August 2027 on Sobieszewo Island (Wyspa Sobieszewska), about twenty minutes from central Gdańsk by the host’s account. Youth contingents are described as arriving on 29 July and leaving on 9 August. The International Service Team window is longer. Host pages have not always named the same last day for that team: this site’s table says 10 August, and a host knowledge-base page says 11 August. Ask your leaders which text they are using.

There is no camp transfer from Hong Kong published on this site. Contingents arrange international travel. The host’s fee reading includes transfers from stated entry and exit points inside Poland. Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport is GDN. This page does not invent flight times, airlines, or a visa outcome.

What circular 08/2025 printed

The table is the participation line, the arrival line, and the theme word as circular 08/2025 printed them on 1 March 2025. A later circular can replace the whole of it. This is not a new registration round.

Youth members
The circular says: Scout members aged 14 to 17 during the camp, born from 31 July 2009 to 30 July 2013.
Leaders
The circular says: Scout leaders aged 18 or over during the camp, born on or before 30 July 2009.
Service team
The circular says: Scout members or leaders aged 18 or over during the camp, born on or before 30 July 2009.
Arrive and leave
The circular says: members and leaders arrive on 29 July 2027 and leave on 9 August 2027. The International Service Team arrives on 27 July 2027 and leaves on 10 August 2027.
Theme word
The circular prints Bravely as 英勇. Elsewhere on this site the gloss is 勇敢. The host’s word is the Latin one.

Bulletin 1’s youth sentence — born after 30 July 2009 and on or before 30 July 2013 — is the same set of dates as the circular’s 31 July 2009 to 30 July 2013. 30 July 2009 falls on the adult side of both. A later Hong Kong notice can rewrite either sentence. On a Hong Kong form, use the association’s current wording, not this paragraph.

The Hong Kong dollar figures are a March 2025 estimate

Circular 08/2025 printed the host’s early-bird fee as 6,000 złoty for contingent members and leaders (about 12,000 Hong Kong dollars) and 5,400 złoty for Hong Kong contingent preparation committee members (CMT) and the International Service Team (about 10,800 Hong Kong dollars). The estimate used 1 złoty = 2 Hong Kong dollars. The circular said the whole Hong Kong contingent would register at that early-bird fee, and that there would not be a later registration round. It also said that if the rate is lower when the association pays, the difference goes to contingent operating costs, and if the rate is higher, the shortfall is collected from participants. Those sentences are from March 2025. They are not a 2026 invoice.

The same circular printed return economy airfares as about 9,000 Hong Kong dollars, not including airport departure tax and related surcharges. It called that a reference to fares in the same season of 2025, and said the actual fare was not yet fixed. The contingent leader decides: a group purchase, or tickets bought by participants on the flights the leader names. Members travel on the flights the leader arranges. The service team arranges its own flights and transfers as the host instructs.

The host’s Bulletin 1 table, in złoty, is below. The Hong Kong dollar figures above are the March 2025 circular’s estimate at 1 złoty = 2 Hong Kong dollars. They are not the same document, and neither is a 2026 invoice.

Fees in Bulletin 1
CategoryEarly, participantRegular, participantEarly, IST and CMTRegular, IST and CMT
A1500 PLN1600 PLN1350 PLN1440 PLN
B3000 PLN3200 PLN2700 PLN2880 PLN
C4500 PLN4800 PLN4050 PLN4320 PLN
D6000 PLN6400 PLN5400 PLN5760 PLN

Bulletin 1 asked for an early-registration allocation form by 1 July 2025 and a 30 percent deposit by 1 September 2025. That early-bird deadline has passed as of October 2026. Read the early columns as history unless your National Scout Organization says the rate still applies.

These numbers are a reading of Bulletin 1, not an invoice. Bulletin 3 was published on 5 December 2025 and the host said deadlines in it were updated; this table does not invent a new price. This site never collects a fee.

worldscoutjamboree2027 never collects a camp fee. Do not transfer 12,000 or 10,800 to this website. A message to tfg8964@gmail.com cannot hold a place and cannot refund one. Ask the association what, if anything, is payable now.

What the circular said if the camp is cancelled

Circular 08/2025 says that if the World Scout Committee’s final decision is to cancel the jamboree, the host refunds the camp fee after the necessary costs of making the refund. If the cancellation is on or after 1 July 2027, fees already paid are not refunded. It says the host’s latest announcement wins. That is the circular’s sentence of 1 March 2025. It is not a promise from Bravely Field Notes, and it is not a reading of a later host refund rule.

An HKSAR passport and a Document of Identity are not the same document

Circular 08/2025 does not say that a Hong Kong SAR passport needs a visa for Poland. What it prints is validity: the passport should still be valid for at least three months after the planned date of leaving the Schengen area, and some airlines or transit countries may ask for six months. The Council of the European Union’s visa-policy page, reviewed in October 2026, lists Hong Kong for visa-free short stays. The official ETIAS page says that exemption matches a “Hong Kong Special Administrative Region” passport, not every travel document issued in Hong Kong. Check again before you fly. The rule can change.

The same circular says holders of a Hong Kong Document of Identity for Visa Purposes (簽證身份書) need a Schengen visa to enter Poland, and suggests applying about three months ahead, on their own, at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Hong Kong or the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in China. For any other travel document, the circular says to ask those offices. This site does not process visas and does not predict an entry decision.

The EU also runs an Entry/Exit System (EES) that records many non-EU travellers on short stays. The official page is linked below. This site does not describe the booth procedure for a particular passport. ETIAS is a different system, a travel authorisation rather than a visa. In October 2026 the official ETIAS page still said the system was not in operation and was not taking applications. Do not pay a website that offers to sell an ETIAS authorisation.

The same circular says that a problem caused by a travel document, a visa, or another personal reason does not lead to a refund of fees already paid. That sentence is from 1 March 2025. It is not a new ruling from this notebook.

The Polish consulate in Hong Kong

The Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Hong Kong, read on 28 October 2026, prints its address as Room 2506, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai. The office hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:00. Visitors are received Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 16:00 Hong Kong time, and the page says to book in e-Konsulat before every visit. The phone is +852 2840 0779. The email is hongkong.kg.info@msz.gov.pl. The fax is +852 2596 0062. The consular district is the Hong Kong SAR and the Macao SAR. This is not the Jamboree office, and it is not the International Branch.

The consulate’s visa page for Hong Kong and Macau says it accepts applications from residents of that district. It says you can apply no earlier than six months and no later than 15 days before the journey, and that the application is submitted in person. It also says the consulate does not work with outside companies on visas. Six months before a late-July 2027 departure falls in late January 2027. That is arithmetic from their sentence, not a date this notebook has booked.

Circular 08/2025 suggested that a holder of a Hong Kong Document of Identity apply about three months ahead. The consulate’s own window is the sentence to follow, and it can change. An HKSAR passport is a different document, read in the section above. This site does not make the appointment and does not predict an entry decision.

Parents, leaders, and what the circular said to bring

  • The circular says applicants, and the parents or guardians of applicants under 18, must attend a briefing when the contingent leader or the International Branch tells them to.
  • Unless the contingent leader approves otherwise, leaders accompany youth members to and from Hong Kong.
  • The circular says anyone taking part in water activities while overseas needs a valid swimming-test certificate issued by the Scout Association of Hong Kong.
  • Leaders and the International Service Team must be able to communicate in English and/or French.
  • The circular lists, as the participant’s own cost, personal kit (including gear the contingent specifies), tents, return flights, medical and travel insurance, airport tax, a visa and visa fees if one is required, bank charges, any exchange-rate shortfall, off-site activities, and quarantine costs if they apply. It also recommends arranging your own travel insurance. The host’s participation kit is a separate item and does not replace that list.
  • The circular says that if a participant withdraws after registering, fees already paid are not refunded.
  • Selection interviews were written for May 2025, after the deadline. That month has passed. On subsidies, circular 09/2025 (issued the same day) and the Overseas and Mainland Activities Subsidy Scheme, OMASS, in administrative circular 32/2021, both printed 2 May 2025 as the deadline. The circular said a participant cannot apply to both. This site does not take a subsidy application.

Six questions for the International Branch, as of October 2026

The 2 May 2025 registration deadline has passed. This site cannot answer the questions below. The International Branch can.

  1. Has any circular after 08/2025 changed places, fees, or the birth-date line?
  2. Can the Hong Kong contingent still add a person, or is it closed?
  3. If anything is payable now, what is the amount in Hong Kong dollars, and whom do you pay? Not this website.
  4. Will the contingent buy the air tickets, or does each family buy the flights the leader names?
  5. Which travel document will this Scout use, and does that document need a visa?
  6. Who is the contingent leader, and where is the briefing for parents of Scouts under 18?

Circular 08/2025 prints this phone number and email for the International Branch. They reach the association, not this notebook. 2957 6400 · il@scout.org.hk

What this page will not do

  • It will not register you, shortlist you, or tell you that the May 2025 Hong Kong deadline still applies.
  • It will not print a bank account, and it will not tell you to pay the March 2025 estimate. The Hong Kong dollar figures above are what the circular printed, with that date attached.
  • It will not copy the circular or the bulletin in full. The sections above are a reading. Use the links and read them yourself.
  • It will not take a safeguarding report. Use your leaders and the channels they name.

世界童軍大露營 2027 — short answers

What is 世界童軍大露營 2027?
It is the Traditional Chinese name of the 26th World Scout Jamboree, held in Gdańsk, Poland, from 30 July to 8 August 2027. Hong Kong often says 第26屆世界童軍大露營. Taiwan often says 第26次世界大露營. The host site is jamboree2027.org. This page is an independent guide.
How does a Hong Kong Scout join?
Through the Scout Association of Hong Kong, not through worldscoutjamboree2027. Start with the association’s own circular and any notice published after it. The March 2025 circular’s application date has passed.
Is the 2 May 2025 deadline still open?
That date has passed. This site does not know if a later Hong Kong circular opened another round. Ask the association. Do not send the old form here.
Is worldscoutjamboree2027 the Hong Kong Scout Association?
No. worldscoutjamboree2027 is Bravely Field Notes, an unofficial guide. The association’s site is scout.org.hk. The host’s site is jamboree2027.org.
Are 第26屆世界童軍大露營 and 第26次世界大露營 the same camp?
Yes. Both names point at the 2027 World Scout Jamboree in Poland. The wording differs between Hong Kong and Taiwan. The camp does not.
Is the fee charged in Hong Kong dollars or in złoty?
The host published the participation fee in Polish złoty. A Hong Kong invoice is the association’s, in whatever currency it uses, and it can add travel and insurance. This site does not collect either.
Does a Hong Kong SAR passport need a visa for the 2027 World Scout Jamboree?
Circular 08/2025 does not say that an HKSAR passport needs a visa. It prints a validity rule: at least three months after the planned date of leaving the Schengen area, and some airlines or transit countries may ask for six. The EU Council’s visa-policy page lists Hong Kong for visa-free short stays, and the official ETIAS page ties that to a Hong Kong Special Administrative Region passport. ETIAS itself was not taking applications in October 2026. Do not pay a site that offers to arrange one. Check again before you fly.
Can a Document of Identity be used for 世界童軍大露營 2027?
Circular 08/2025 says holders of a Hong Kong Document of Identity need a Schengen visa to enter Poland, and suggests applying about three months ahead at the Polish consulate in Hong Kong or the Polish embassy in China. Other travel documents have to be checked with those offices. This site does not process visas.
What is the Hong Kong dollar fee for the 26th World Scout Jamboree?
On 1 March 2025, circular 08/2025 printed about 12,000 Hong Kong dollars for members and leaders (6,000 złoty) and about 10,800 Hong Kong dollars for the preparation committee and the service team (5,400 złoty), using 1 złoty = 2 Hong Kong dollars. Airfares had a separate 2025 reference of about 9,000 Hong Kong dollars, not yet fixed. That is not a 2026 invoice. Ask the association for the current amount. Do not transfer it to worldscoutjamboree2027.
What should a Hong Kong parent do now?
Ask the International Branch whether the contingent is still taking enquiries, whether a circular after 08/2025 exists, what the current Hong Kong dollar amount is, and where the briefing is for parents of Scouts under 18. The circular prints 2957 6400 and il@scout.org.hk. The 2 May 2025 deadline has passed.
How do the ages for 世界童軍大露營 2027 match birth dates?
Circular 08/2025 describes youth members as 14 to 17 during the camp, born from 31 July 2009 to 30 July 2013. Leaders and the service team are 18 or over, born on or before 30 July 2009. That is the same window as Bulletin 1’s “after 30 July 2009 and on or before 30 July 2013”. A later circular can change it. On a Hong Kong form, use the association’s current sentence.
Is worldscoutjamboree2027 the official registration site?
No. worldscoutjamboree2027 is Bravely Field Notes at worldscoutjamboree2027.com, an unofficial guide. Hong Kong places are held by the Scout Association of Hong Kong. The host site is jamboree2027.org.
What is the time difference between Hong Kong and the 2027 World Scout Jamboree?
Six hours. Hong Kong is UTC+8. Poland is on Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) during 30 July–8 August 2027, so Gdańsk is six hours behind Hong Kong. 10:00 at the camp is 16:00 in Hong Kong.
What date should a Hong Kong family check in October 2026?
Bulletin 1’s next printed line was a 30 percent payment on 1 November 2026, and the end of International Service Team job choice on 1 December 2026. Bulletin 3, published on 5 December 2025, said deadlines were updated. For Hong Kong, the current circular wins. worldscoutjamboree2027 does not take a payment and does not register anyone.
Who had to recommend a Hong Kong application for 世界童軍大露營 2027?
Circular 08/2025 said a youth member, or a Scout member or leader in a troop, needed the troop leader and the district commissioner. Other members and leaders needed their unit commissioner. The paper address it printed is the International Branch, 10th floor, Hong Kong Scout Centre, 九龍柯士甸道童軍徑香港童軍中心. The 2 May 2025 deadline has passed. This site does not reprint the bank account.
Where is the Polish consulate for a Hong Kong Document of Identity?
The consulate’s page, read on 28 October 2026, gives Room 2506, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai, and says the district covers Hong Kong and Macau. Visitors are received Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 16:00, after a booking in e-Konsulat. The visa page says an application is no earlier than six months and no later than 15 days before the journey, in person. The circular’s “about three months” is the association’s suggestion. This notebook does not book the visit.
What did Hong Kong’s circular say if 世界童軍大露營 2027 is cancelled?
Circular 08/2025 says that if the World Scout Committee finally cancels the camp, the host refunds the camp fee after the necessary costs of the refund, and that a cancellation on or after 1 July 2027 means fees already paid are not refunded. The host’s latest announcement wins. That is the March 2025 sentence. It is not a promise from Bravely Field Notes.
What is scout world jamboree 2027?
The 26th World Scout Jamboree, with the English words reordered. In Hong Kong the camp is 世界童軍大露營 2027, and circulars say 第26屆世界童軍大露營. International scout jamboree 2027 is the same camp, not the International Service Team. Places go through the Scout Association of Hong Kong, not through Bravely Field Notes at worldscoutjamboree2027.com.
Is the 2027 World Scout Jamboree in Korea?
No. The 2027 World Scout Jamboree is the 26th, in Gdańsk, Poland, from 30 July to 8 August 2027. The World Scout Jamboree in Korea was the 25th, which WOSM lists at SaeManGeum, Gunsan-si, from 1 to 12 August 2023. Statements from August 2023 say participants left that campsite ahead of Typhoon Khanun and that the closing ceremony was in Seoul on 11 August 2023. That camp is finished. It is not the 2027 jamboree.
