Bravely Field Notes is not a video game
Bravely Field Notes is the name of this notebook. The address is worldscoutjamboree2027.com. The camp’s theme word is also Bravely, which is why the notebook uses it.
Bravely Default is a separate thing: a role-playing video game. In that game a character carries a journal, and fan wikis file its notes. A search that mixes “Bravely” and “notes” can open that wiki. Those notes are fiction. They do not describe Gdańsk, a contingent, or a fee.
bravely.io is a third thing, a company that is not this notebook and not the game. The host site remains jamboree2027.org.
worldscoutjamboree2027
worldscoutjamboree2027 is the bare name of this website. Adding “.com” gives the address. The host’s address drops “worldscout” and uses .org: jamboree2027.org. The knowledge base uses another host, knowledge.wsj2027.pl, on the wsj2027.pl domain the office also uses for info@wsj2027.pl.
If a page asks for a fee, a passport scan, or a place, it is not this domain. This notebook cannot hold a place.
What “Poland guide” means here
The World Scout Jamboree 2027 Poland guide is a page on this site. It reads the host’s public notes on Sobieszewo Island, the five official entry points, the July and August climate line, day visitors, and the opening-day disagreement: the English dates page says 30 July 2027, and the residents’ page says 31 July 2027.
knowledge.wsj2027.pl is easy to meet in a search for that same phrase, because the host calls the camp a World Scout Jamboree in Poland and the space is public. The pages there are the HoC Base, a knowledge base for Heads of Contingent. A family can read the public FAQ. A contingent still follows its Head of Contingent, not this glossary.
2027 World Scout Jamboree
The 2027 World Scout Jamboree is the 26th World Scout Jamboree. Związek Harcerstwa Polskiego (ZHP) hosts it in Gdańsk from 30 July to 8 August 2027. The host story calls it the first World Scout Jamboree in Central Europe. The theme word is Bravely. Scouts join through a National Scout Organization.
世界童軍大露營 2027
世界童軍大露營 2027 is the Traditional Chinese name of that camp. Hong Kong writing often says 第26屆世界童軍大露營. The Scouts of China say 第26次世界大露營 and 第26次世界童軍大露營. The Polish name is XXVI Światowe Jamboree Skautowe. English keeps 2027 World Scout Jamboree.
Three Chinese spellings of the island are in public pages. This site says 索別謝沃島 for Wyspa Sobieszewska. The Scouts of China notice of 1 September 2025 spells it 索比耶舒夫斯卡島. The Taiwan contingent about page, read on 25 October 2026, spells it 索賓澤沃斯卡島. They are the same island.
The Hong Kong circular glosses the theme word Bravely as 英勇. Other pages on this site gloss it as 勇敢. The host’s word stays in Latin letters either way.
A search for 世界童軍大露營 2027 often opens scout.org.hk, because that is the Scout Association of Hong Kong and the association published circular 08/2025. That site decides a Hong Kong place. It is not a Poland travel guide, and it is not this notebook. Read the circular for the association’s rule. Read this site’s Chinese camp page for the camp in Traditional Chinese, and the Hong Kong page for the clock, the birth dates the circular printed, and the March 2025 Hong Kong dollar estimate.
The English knowledge base shortens the adults. Head of Contingent (HoC) is the adult your association sends, and the knowledge base is written for that person. International Service Team is IST. Contingent Management Team is CMT. Adult Patrol Leader is the adult with a patrol of nine. Those abbreviations are one camp, not a second event. This page cannot hold a place.
People the bulletins name
Bulletin 1 and Jamboree 101 use these roles. The joining page reads them at more length. This list is the short version a parent needs before opening the Heads of Contingent knowledge base.
- National Scout Organization
- The association that registers a contingent. In Hong Kong that is the Scout Association of Hong Kong. In Taiwan it is the Scouts of China. This website is not one.
- Head of Contingent (HoC)
- The adult who speaks for a national contingent to the host. The knowledge base at knowledge.wsj2027.pl is written for this person. A Head of Contingent does not also serve as an Adult Patrol Leader or on the International Service Team.
- Contingent Management Team (CMT)
- Adults who run the contingent, on the adult side of Bulletin 1’s birth-date line: born on or before 30 July 2009.
- International Service Team (IST)
- The host’s volunteer team. Bulletin 1 uses the same adult birth-date line. The host publishes a catalogue of IST roles. This notebook does not take volunteer applications.
- Adult Patrol Leader
- The adult with a patrol of nine youth. Four patrols make a unit. Bulletin 1 does not give a further title for someone who coordinates a unit.
- Youth participant
- In Bulletin 1: born after 30 July 2009 and on or before 30 July 2013. A later bulletin, or your association’s circular, can replace that line.
- Day visitor
- Someone who is not in a sleeping patrol. The host’s page for Sobieszewo residents describes tickets, a discount for Gdańsk residents, free entry for Sobieszewo residents, and check-in at AmberExpo. It does not print a price. This site will not invent one.
Place words
- Sobieszewo Island
- Wyspa Sobieszewska, inside Gdańsk, on the Baltic. The venue page says the campsite is on 300 hectares of fields and meadows. Jamboree 101 says more than 200 hectares. Both figures stay, unaveraged, on the Poland guide.
- Gdańsk
- The host city. Gdańsk Lech Wałęsa Airport is GDN. Gdańsk Główny is the main railway station. Bulletin 1 says the train from Warsaw takes about two and a half hours. This site does not publish a 2027 timetable or a fare.
- Official entry points
- The venue page names five: Gdańsk airport (GDN), Gdańsk Główny, the Gdańsk ferry terminal, the Gdynia ferry terminal, and AmberExpo / Polsat Plus Arena. Bulletin 1 describes the participation fee as including transfers from the entry and exit points the host states.
Papers and the fee
- Bulletin 1
- The first official bulletin. This site reads ages, the złoty fee table, and what the fee covers from it. Bulletin 3, announced on 5 December 2025, said deadlines were updated. The bulletin file itself stays with contingents. This site does not invent a new price.
- Fee category
- World Scout categories A to D. Bulletin 1 prints a złoty amount for each, for participants and for IST and CMT, with an early column and a regular column. The early-bird dates in that bulletin have passed as of October 2026. Your association’s invoice can add travel and insurance, and that invoice is the one you pay.
- What the fee covers
- Bulletin 1 describes the campsite, programme transport, meals on the published dates, drinking water, stated transfers, shared cooking equipment, limited medical care, and a participation kit. It describes personal tents, cots, and sleeping bags as not provided, and medicines and hospital costs as outside the fee. The practical page turns that into a short packing note. Your leader’s list wins.
